Decree No. 55/2017/ND-CP regulates the the management of farming, processing and export of tra fish products. It also has specific regulations on registering identification number for ponds farming tra fish and regulations on quality and food safety for commercial tra fish products.

The Decree stipulates responsibilities of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ministry of Finance to implement this decree, supervise implementation of this decree and solve commercial disputes related with tra fish export products.

Attached to this Decision are five appendices detailed as follows:

• Appendix 1: Regulate the code of provinces/cities under the central management applicable in the management of aquaculture
• Appendix 2: Sample registration form to apply for identification code of commercial tra fish farming ponds
• Appendix 3: Certificate form of identification code of commercial tra fish farming ponds
• Appendix 4: Sample report on the export of tra fish product

• Appendix 5: Sample report on the import of tra fish product

This Decree shall enter into force from July 01, 2017 and replaces the Government’s Decree No. 36/2014/ND-CP dated 29/04/2014 on the farming, processing and export of tra fish products.
