Circular No. 33/2016/TT-BCT amends and supplements a number of articles of Circulars No. 36/2015/TT-BCT promulgating the national technical standards for tissue and toilet paper.

Tissue paper and toilet paper are evaluated and certified according to mode 5 or mode 7 stated in Article 5 of Circular No. 28/2012/TT-BKHCN dated December 12, 2012 prescribing the conformity to standards and the assessment of conformity to standards and technical regulations.

The testing of quality indicators of tissue paper, toilet paper must be carried out in laboratories designated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

This Circular is effective from January 01, 2017.
