Circular No. 41/2013/TT-BGTVT provides for the inspection of quality and technical safety of electric bikes both domestically assembled and imported.
The Circular applies to the organizations and individuals relating to the manufacture, assembly, import, trading, inspection, testing, control, and certification of quality and technical safety of electric bikes.
The inspection on the quality of locally assembled electric bikes is based upon the assessment of quality conducted at the production base.
Meanwhile, the quality of imported bikes can be determined by generally inspecting the identity of the batch; applying the method of random test; checking sample bike identification; and so on.
