Circular No. 07/2009/TT-BCT deals with the issuance of certificates of origin for nine categories, coded as 338, 339, 340, 341, 345, 347, 348, 351, and 352, of garment and textile exported to the US market.

Accordingly, all of these categories of garment and textile exported to the US must complete the procedures to be granted with Certificate of Origin (C/O) by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

This Circular becomes effective after 45 days since the signing date and annuls Decision No. 35/2008/QD-BCT dated October 9, 2008 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the issuance of C/O for some categories of exports to the US.
