The Prime Minister urges to promulgate the list of duty-free imported goods

VCN- The Government Office has just issued a document on the Prime Minister’s instruction on the implementation of Decree No.134/2016/ND-CP dated 1st September 2016 specifying the number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Export and Import Duties.

Accordingly, considering the written requests of ministries and sectors, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Education and Training, based on the assigned tasks in Article 40 of the Government's Decree No.134/2016/ND-CP dated 1st September, 2016 for the promulgation the list or criteria of goods used as a basis for application of import duty policy in 2017.

During waiting for the promulgation, these ministries shall have to send written notices to ministries, agencies, and enterprises on the list of goods as the basis for import duty exemption in accordance with regulation.
