Abolishing the Decision no.50/2006/QD-TTg on the list of products and goods subject to quality inspection

Summary

The Prime Minister has issued Decision No. 37/2017/ QD-TTg dated 17 Aug 2017, thereby, abolishing the Decision no.50/2006/QD-TTg dated 03 March 2006 on the list of products and goods subject to quality inspection.

In the Decision no.50/2006/QD-TTg, list of of products and goods subject to quality inspection includes 114 products in groups: medical equipments and works, vaccines for diseases, feed used in aquaculture, fisheries and aquaculture products (must be cooked before eating), instant aquatic products, pesticides, fertilizers, veterinary drugs and raw materials for veterinary medicine, animal feed. In addition, the list also includes explosives and anti-explosion equipments used in underground mining, some products under the management of the Ministry of Transport such as cranes, industrial safety helmets, insulating gloves, boilers, elevators, escalators ..construction machines in traffic, tractors, vehicles with over 10 seats...; some cement products. .

At present, the quality inspection is carried out in accordance with the Law on Products and Goods Quality and guiding documents instead of the  Prime Minister's Decision no.50/2006/QD-TTg.
