Ministry of Transport reduced 69 of 134 products subject to specialized inspections

According to the Ministry of Transport, currently, it manages the specialized inspections before Customs clearance for 134 products and goods.

Specifically, products and goods which are classified under specific fields, include 97 products in the field of motor vehicles and specialized motorbike, 20 products in the field of ship and 17 products in the field of railway.

Currently, the Ministry of Transport has implemented 9 administrative procedures on specialized inspection before Customs clearance. The Ministry of Transport has reduced 69 of 134 products subject to specialized inspection (accounting for 51.5%) of total products subject to specialized inspection before Customs clearance.

Of which, 50 of 97 products in the field of motor vehicles and specialized motorbike are reduced. 10 of 20 products in the ship field are reduced. 9 of 17 products in railway field are reduced.

The Ministry of Transport has simplified the specialized inspection procedures towards reducing 7 of 9 administrative procedures related to the specialized inspection (accounting for 77.78%).

In order to deploy the next content to reduce and simplify the list of goods, products and procedures subject to specialized inspection to meet requirement of the Government, the Ministry of Transport has quickly completed procedures and issued a draft Circular replacing Circular 39/2016/TT-BGTVT.

At the same time, supplementing into the program on developing legal documents in 2018 of the Ministry of Transport to amend and supplement Circulars related to the simplification of administrative procedures under the shortened process (1 circular amends circulars) for issue before 31st October 2018 to meet the Government’s requirements.
