Reduce minimum stock levels for rice exporters
As of 1 October 2018, Decree 107/2018 / ND-CP on rice export business began to take effect.
Accordingly, traders exporting rice must regularly maintain minimum reserves equivalent to 5% of the volume of rice that traders have exported in the previous six months (down 5% compared to the previous).

Therefore, to ensure timely supply of demand for rice at specific time, avoid affecting the life, socio-economic; Creating favorable conditions for businesses when doing business.

At the same time, Decree 107 stipulates that traders can export rice when they satisfy the following conditions:

- Having at least one special-use store containing rice or rice in conformity with national standards and technical regulations;

- Having at least 01 milling and grinding facility or rice and rice processing establishments compatible with national standards and technical regulations.

Warehouses, milling, milling and processing plants may be owned by the trader or rented by another organization or individual with a written lease with a minimum term of 5 years.

Decree 109/2010/ND-CP dated 04/11/2010 is repealed.
