New certificates shall not be granted to entrusted importers of scraps
This is a prominent feature of Directive 27/CT-TTg on some urgent measures to strengthen the management of import and use of imported scrap as raw materials for production.
Accordingly, in order to strengthen the management of import activities, use imported scrap as raw materials for production, minimize the risk of causing environmental pollution ... Prime Minister instructed MONRE:

- No new or extension of the written certification of entrusted importers shall be issued.

- Only grant new certificates of environmental protection eligibility in the import of discarded materials as raw materials for production with the importing units for direct use as raw materials for production. bridge and capacity to use scrap.

- It is forbidden to permit production establishments to import scrap materials only for preliminary processing, re-processing and resale of raw materials.

- To review, amend, supplement and promulgate new national technical standards on environment for scraps imported for use as raw materials for production.
