Quang Ninh: 19.18% of declaration subject to specialized inspection

Summary

Until the beginning of September 2018, Quang Ninh Customs Department has processed 41,472 import and export declarations, of which, 21,387 of import declarations and 20,085 export declarations.

7,955 import and export declarations are subject to specialized inspection, accounting for 19.18% of total declarations.

Specifically, for import goods, 7,641 declarations subject to specialized inspection including 3,064 declarations subject to quarantine inspection; 735 declarations subject to food safety inspection; 14,34 declarations subject to quality inspection; 1,204 declarations subject to specialized management; 294 declarations with import licenses; 656 declarations must have certificates for eligibility.

For export goods, 314 declarations are subject to specialized inspection, including 100 declarations subject to food safety inspection, 94 declarations subject to specialized management, 24 declarations subject to quarantine inspection.

The socialization of specialized inspection of export and import goods is a solution to renovate the specialized inspection method as stated in the Prime Minister's Decision No. 2026/QD-TTg of 2016. Some specialized management ministries have authorized or appointed a number of agencies and organizations to carry out the specialized inspection.

In addition, in order to improve the effectiveness of the specialized inspection, the electronicization of the procedures of specialized inspection has been actively implemented by ministries and sectors through the deployment of the National Single Window. Currently, 11 ministries and sectors have processed 68 procedures via the National Single Window.
