01 (original copy) request for certification under the prescribed Form;

01 dossier of technical assessment of the ship (original copy or photocopy if the dossier is to be submitted via fax or email)

Step 1:

The organization/individual shall complete the dossier in prescribed form and submit directly or via the postal system to the Vietnam Register.

Step 2:

The Vietnam Register shall receive the dossier and check the dossier's adequacy:  If the dossier is inadequate, guide the organization/individual to complete the dossier; if the dossier is adequate, make a written appointment with a date for notification of results.

Step 3:

The Vietnam Register shall examine the dossier: If the dossier is not eligible, notify the organization/individual in writing; if it is eligible, issue the certification in writing.
