New points for dossiers of application for issuance of international multimodal transport licenses
The Government has just issued Decree 144/2018/ND-CP amending and supplementing the Decrees on multimodal transport.
Accordingly, a dossier of application for an international multi-modal transportation business license of an enterprise, a cooperative or a foreign enterprise investing in Vietnam shall comprise:

- An application for an international multimodal transportation business license (made according to the form provided in Appendix I to this Decree);

- A copy of the original or a certified copy (if submitted directly), a certified copy (if submitted by mail). GCN registered investment or other equivalent papers;

- The audited financial statement, if not audited, must be guaranteed by the bank or other organization or individual or an alternative financial plan.

Accordingly, the dossiers under the new regulations do not require expressing the international multimodal transport business lines in the GCNs for registration of enterprises or GCNs for investment registration.

Decree 144/2018/ND-CP comes into force on October 16, 1975, repealing Chapter 3 of Decree 87/2009/ND-CP and Decree  89/2011/ND-CP dated October 10, 2011.
