On 15/10/2018, Ministry of Information and Communications issued Circular  11/2018/TT-BTTTT detailing the list of used information technology products banned import with the HS code.
 

Accordingly, the regulation on the application of the list of prohibited imports is as follows:

- Where only 4-digit codes are listed, all 8-digit codes belonging to this 4-digit group shall be applied;

- Where only 6-digit codes are listed, all 8-digit codes belonging to this 6-digit subheading shall be applied;

- In case of addition of 4-digit and 6-digit code to 8-digit code, only 8-digit code shall be applied;

- Parts, accessories, spare parts and accessories of the products on the list are also banned from import;

- Refurbished IT products with HS codes, if they are on the list of those banned from import, shall be banned from import;

- For printers and digital color copiers, when importing, they shall comply with the provisions of law in the printing domain.
