Process Steps

Step 1

The organization/individual shall submit the dossier of Application requesting the Ministry of Transport to approve the seaport arrival of the foreign seagoing vessel/ship propelled by nuclear power or the ship carrying radioactive substances

Step 2

The Ministry of Transport shall receive and examine the dossier:

+ In case where the dossier is directly submitted, if the dossier is adequate of prescribed papers, make a written receipt of the dossier and appointment for notice of results within the prescribed time limit; if the dossier is inadequate of prescribed papers, then return the dossier and guide the organization/individual to complete the dossier.

+ In case where the dossier is submitted via the postal system, if the dossier is inadequate of prescribed papers, the Ministry of Transport shall reply in writing and clearly state relevant reasons;

+ Within 10 working days from the date of reception of sufficient valid papers as required, the Ministry of Transport shall report the case to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval, and issue a written reply to permit the seaport arrival of the foreign seagoing vessel/ship propelled by nuclear power or the ship carrying radioactive substances. In case of disapproval, the Ministry shall make a written notice of disapproval within the above-prescribed time limit and clearly state relevant reasons.
