Import quota on salt and poultry eggs in 2019
On March 4, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Circular 04/2019 / TT-BCT stipulating the principles of administering import tariff quotas for salted and egg products in 2019.
Accordingly, import quotas of salt and poultry eggs in 2019 are as follows:

- Poultry eggs include: chicken eggs (commodity codes 0407.21.00 and 0407.90.10); duck and duck eggs (commodity codes 0407.29.10 and 0407.90.20) and others (commodity codes 0407.29.90 and 0407.90.90); The total is 55,181 dozen.

Note: The eggs mentioned above are commercial eggs without embryos.

Tariff quotas for import of poultry eggs are allocated to traders with business registration certificates / registration certificates for enterprises that have import demands.

- Salt products (goods code 2501) number of 110,000 tons.

Import quotas of salt shall be allocated to traders directly used as raw materials for production of chemicals and as raw materials for production of medicines and medical products.

Circular 04/2019/TT-BCT effective from April 17, 2019 to the end of December 31, 2019.
