Amendments to some contents specified in Appendix I of the Circular No.65/2017/TT-BTC dated June 27, 2017 of the Ministry of Finance on Vietnam's nomenclature of exports and imports

1. In the Explanatory Note 4 to Chapter 12, the phrase “cây cừu ly hương” is changed into “cây cửulý hương”.

2. In the Explanatory Note 5 to Chapter 12 and heading 12.12, the phrases “tảo biển và các loại tảo biển khác” and “rong biển và tảo biển khác” are changed into “rong biển và các loại tảo khác”.

3. In heading 15.18, the phrase “sulphat hoá” is changed into“sulphua hóa”.

4. In heading 39.18, the phrase “tấm ốp tường hoặc ốp trần bằng plastic” is changed into “Tấm phủtường hoặc phủ trần bằng plastic”.

5. In heading 44.01, the phrase “mùn cưa và phế liệu gỗ” is changed into “mùn cưa, phế liệu và mảnh vụn gỗ”.

6. In heading 49.07, the phrases “giấy bạc (tiền giấy)” and “hợp pháp nhưng chưa đưa vào lưu thông” are changed into “giấy bạc ngân hàng (banknotes);” and “loại pháp định^(*)” (“being fiat money”) respectively; the unit of quantity under the code 4907.00.10 is changed from “kg/chiếc” into “kg/tờ”.

In heading 71.18, the phrases “không được coi là tiền tệ chính thức:”, “được coi là tiền tệ chính thức hoặc không chính thức” and “loại được coi là tiền tệ chính thức” are changed into “không phải loại pháp định” (“not being fiat money”), “loại pháp định^(*) hoặc không phải loại pháp định” (“being fiat money^(*) or not being fiat money”) and “loại pháp định^(*)”(“being fiat money^(*)”) respectively.

A note is added at the end of Chapter 49 and Chapter 71 as follows: “(*) Trong phạm vi nhóm 49.07 và 71.18, khái niệm “loại pháp định” được hiểu là công cụ thanh toán phát hành bởi ngân hàng được pháp luật công nhận.” (“Within the scope of headings 49.07 and 71.18, the expression “being fiat money” means a payment instrument that is issued by a bank accredited by the law.”)

7. In heading 55.16, the phrase “sợi filament tái tạo” is changed into “sợi filament nhân tạo”.

8. In heading 56.03, the unit of quantity of “Nonwovens, whether or not impregnated, coated, covered or laminated” is changed from “m/m²” into “kg/m/m²”.

9. In heading 84.26, the phrase “khung thang nâng di động” is changed into “khung nâng di động”.

10. In heading 8436.10, the phrase “Máy chế biến thức ăn gia súc” is changed into “Máy chế biến thức ăn cho động vật”.

11. In heading 8438.10, the phrase “máy làm bánh mỳ” is changed into “máy làm bánh”.

12. In the Explanatory Note 4(b) to Chapter 84 and heading 84.57, the phrases “máy một vị trí gia công” and “máy kết cấu một vị trí” are changed into “máy kết cấu nguyên khối (một vị trí gia công) respectively.”

13. In the Explanatory Note 4(c) to Chapter 84 and heading 84.57, the phrase “máy nhiều vị trí gia công chuyển dịch” is changed into “máy gia công chuyển dịch đa vị trí.”

14. In heading 84.38 and subheading 8479.20, the phrase “dầu hoặc chất béo thực vật” is changed into “dầu hoặc chất béo thực vật không bay hơi”.

15. In the Explanatory Note 9(b)(ii) to Chapter 85, the phrase “các bộ phận nối” is changed into “cuộn cảm”.

16. In subheading 8523.51, the phrase “Các thiết bị lưu trữ bán dẫn không xoá” is changed into “Các thiết bị lưu trữ bền vững, thể rắn”.

17. In heading 85.22, the phrase “đồ phụ trợ” is changed into “phụ kiện”.

18. In heading 85.39, the phrases “đèn hồ quang” and “đèn đi-ốt phát quang (LED)” are changed into “bóng đèn hồ quang” and “bóng đèn đi-ốt phát quang (LED)” respectively.

19. In headings 87.02, 87.03 and 87.11, the phrase “động cơ đốt trong kiểu piston” is changed into “động cơ đốt trong kiểu piston chuyển động tịnh tiến”.

20. Under the code 8702.90.71, the phrase “Khối lượng toàn bộ theo thiết kế trên 24 tấn” is changed into “Khối lượng toàn bộ theo thiết kế không quá 24 tấn”.

21. In heading 87.09, the phrase “phạm vi gần” is changed into “phạm vi hẹp”.

22. Under the code 9018.39.10, the phrase “Ống thông đường tiểu” is changed into “Ống thông”.

23. In heading 94.03, the phrase “- Đồ nội thất bằng gỗ được sử dụng” is changed into “Đồ nội thất bằng gỗ loại sử dụng”.

24. In the Explanatory Note 3 to Chapter 96, the phrase “sợi thực vật” is changed into “xơ thực vật”.

25. In heading 96.03, the phrase “thiết bị gia dụng” is changed into “dụng cụ”.

This Circular comes into force from April 01, 2019./.
