This Circular provides for tariff quotas and a monitoring system for textile and garment exports to Mexico under CPTPP.

This Circular applies to textile and garment exporters to Mexico and related organizations and individuals.

Tariff quotas for textile and apparel exports to Mexico

1. Issued together with this Circular The List of textile and garment products subject to tariff quotas to be exported to Mexico is subject to Mexican regulations in Annex I.

2. The amount of tariff quotas on textile and garment exports to Mexico in 2019 is stipulated in Annex I of the Circular.

3. The Ministry of Industry and Trade announces the amount of tariff quotas for subsequent years after receiving the notice of the competent authority of Mexico.
