Legal basis of the Procedure                

• Law on Cultural Heritage No. 28/2001/QH10 dated June 29, 2001; Effective from January 1, 2002

• Law on amendments of a number of articles of the Law on Cultural Heritage No. 32/2009/QH12 dated June 18, 2009; Effective from January 1, 2010

• Decree No. 98/2010/ND-CP dated September 21, 2010 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Cultural Heritage an Law on amendments of a number of articles of the Law on Cultural Heritage . Effective from November 6, 2010

• Decree No. 01/2012/ND-CP dated January 4, 2012 of the Government regulating the amendment, supplement, replacement or repeal of some provisions related to administrative procedures within the management function of the Ministry of Culture, Sports And Tourism. Effective from February 27, 2012

Application for licensing vestiges and antiques to be brought abroad

Dossier of registration of vestiges and antiques.

Step 1

The organization/individual being owner of the vestiges and antiques owned neither by the State nor political and socio political organizations shall submit a dossier of Application for licensing of vestiges and antiques to be brought abroad to the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Step 2

Within 15 days after receiving an application and prescribed papers, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall grant the License. In case of refusal, he/she shall issue a written reply clearly stating relevant reasons.
