In Decision 2185/QĐ-TTg in 2016 and Decision 1254/QĐ-TTg in 2018 of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Information and Communication was assigned to connect four administrative procedures to National Single Window including: granting certificate of registering list of imported publications for sale, granting import license of publications which are not for sale, granting import license of printing machine and granting certificate of importing publications.
In particular, the procedures for granting certificate of registering list of imported publications for sale must be carried out in 2018, while the remaining three procedures will be carried out in 2019-2020.
According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry has completed the connection for procedure of granting certificate of registering list of imported publications for sale, so far, 253 dossiers have been processed.
The Ministry of Information and Communication will strive to complete the connection of the remaining three procedures in June.
The operational units of the Ministry of Information and Communication and the General Department of Vietnam Customs (Permanent Office of the National Steering Committee on ASEAN Single Window, NSW and trade facilitation) have agreed the professional operation processes, exchange information criteria and are conducting pilot connections.
