Procedure for Issuing Certificate of Export of Textiles to Mexico

On May 31, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision 1510/QD-BCT on the announcement of newly issued administrative procedures in the field of import under the management functions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Specifically, the procedures for Issuing the Certificate of Export of Textiles to Mexico under the CPTPP Agreement are as follows:

Traders send 01 set of registration documents for export certificates to the Ministry of Industry and Trade through the management system and issue electronic certificates of Ecosys origin (http://www.ecosys.gov.vn).

Within 08 (eight) working hours from the date of receipt of the full set of traders' documents, the Ministry of Industry and Trade announces the approval of the dossier on the electronic system and returns the Export Certificate within 02 (two) working days from the date of notification of acceptance of export certificate. In case of not issuing export certificate, the Ministry of Industry and Trade must notify and clearly state the reason on the electronic system.

The decision takes effect from June 20, 2019.
