The Ministry of Transport has issued Circular 25/2019 / TT-BGTVT regulating the quality of technical safety and environmental protection in automobile production and assembly on July 5, 2019, effective force from August 25, 2019.
Accordingly, enterprises must summon products with disabilities produced by them when products violate current regulations, standards and technical regulations applicable to such products or umbrella products. not causing damage to people and property but through the use process can be dangerous in certain conditions. For products with the above-mentioned non-recallable errors, the production establishments shall take initiative in overcoming errors of products.
In case of detecting that products provided to the market with disabilities are subject to recall, enterprises need to proactively suspend production for products of the type of products with disabilities. Besides, enterprises need to publicly announce summoning plans on mass media and bear all costs related to product recall.
This Circular also stipulates that, within 05 working days from the date of detection of a defective product, the enterprise must notify in writing the sales agents requesting the suspension of the provision of defective products. marketable. After no more than 30 days from the end of the recall, the enterprise must report in writing on the results of the summons to the Quality Management Agency.
