19 types of products and goods are likely to cause unsafe

On December 6, 2018, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs issued Circular 22/2018 / TT-BLDTBXH regulating the List of products and goods likely to cause unsafety under the Ministry's management.

The list includes 19 types of products and goods likely to cause unsafety, namely: Lifts and elevator safety parts; Escalators, conveyors waiting for people and safety parts; Boilers with a rated working pressure of steam of over 0.7 bar; Pneumatic cylinders with a rated working pressure of over 0.7 bar; Bottles, tanks, cisterns with rated working pressure of over 0.7 bar according to Vietnam's standards; Electric pulley, electric winch ...

These products and goods must be tested by the State before customs clearance, based on the results of certification and expertise of certification organizations and designated inspection organizations.

In addition, the Circular also specifies the agency responsible for inspecting each of the above-mentioned goods and the adjusted legal documents as well as related technical regulations and standards.

The circular takes effect from February 1, 2019.
