Dossier of Application for granting permission to bring weapons and supportive tools into/out of Vietnam's territory as prescribed in points a, b of Clause 1 and points a, c of Clause 2, Article 5 of Decree No. 25/2012/ND-CP dated April 5, 2012 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Ordinance on management of weapons, explosives and supportive tools, including:
a) Written request for granting permission to bring weapons and supportive tools into or out of Vietnam's territory by competent agencies;
b) Letter of introduction/referral;
c) Written permission of the Government's Prime Minister for the case in which organizations/individuals bring a quantity of weapons higher than the quantity prescribed in Clause 1, Article 6 of Decree No. 25/2012/ND-CP dated April 5, 2012 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Ordinance on management of weapons, explosives and supportive tools.

Dossier of Application for granting permission to bring weapons and supportive tools into/out of Vietnam's territory as prescribed in point c of Clause 1 and point b of Clause 2, Article 5 of Decree No. 25/2012/ND-CP dated April 5, 2012 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Ordinance on management of weapons, explosives and supportive tools, including:
a) Written request for granting permission to bring weapons and supportive tools into or out of Vietnam's territory by competent agencies;
b) Letter of introduction/referral;
c) Photocopy of the Decision or Plan of the State competent agency on the permission to bring weapons and supportive tools into or out of Vietnam's territory for the purposes of sports practice and competitions, display and exhibition, sale promotion or product introduction.
The representative whose name is shown in the Letter of referral shall present his (her) ID Card within effective validity or Passport within effective validity to the dossier reception staff.

Process Steps
Step 1
|
The organization/individual applying for permission to bring weapons and supportive tools into or out of Vietnam's territory shall submit the dossier at the Police Department of Administrative Management of Social Order during working hours on working days.

Step 2
|
The dossier reception staff shall check the validity and completion of the dossier. If the dossier is valid and adequate of prescribed papers/materials, the staff shall accept the dossier and make a Paper of receipt; if the dossier is invalid or inadequate of prescribed papers/materials, he/she shall return the dossier and guide the applicant for supplements and completion.

Step 3
|
According to the date on the Paper of receipt, the organization/individual applying for permission to bring weapons and supportive tools into or out of Vietnam's territory shall come to the place of submission to get results on permission to bring weapons and supportive tools into or out of Vietnam's territory.
