Decree 26/2019/ND-CP of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Fisheries Law was issued on March 8, 2019.
Accordingly, aquaculture establishments that are subject of major aquaculture (including tiger shrimp, whiteleg shrimp, and tra catfish) must carry out the registration procedures with the following documents. :

- An application form made according to Form No. 26.NT in Appendix III to Decree 26;

- One of the papers related to land use rights (LUR):

+ LURC when assigned or leased land for aquaculture (aquaculture);

+ License of aquaculture activities within the protection area of ​​irrigation and hydropower works;

+ Decision to allocate marine areas;

+ LURC contract, marine area for aquaculture.

- Layout plan of pond / cage location certified by the owner.

Within 05 working days from the receipt of the required application, the provincial fisheries management agency shall consider and issue a certificate to the owner.

Decree 26/2019/ND-CP takes effect from April 25, 2019.
