The test cycle of cars imported from AD countries for self-certification is 36 months
On February 26, 2020, the Ministry of Transport issued Circular 05/2020 / TT-BGTVT on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular 03/2018 / TT-BGTVT dated 10 January 2018. regulations on quality inspection of technical safety and environmental protection for imported cars are subject to Decree 116/2017 / ND-CP.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Transport amended and supplemented the regulations on inspection and testing of vehicle models in Clause 2, Article 5 of Circular 03/2018 / TT-BGTVT. Specifically, the inspection and testing cycle for cars imported from countries applying the type certification system and the self-certification system is 36 months. The inspection contents include: the uniformity of the contents of the actual factory quality control sheets of the same type; status of chassis number and engine number of each vehicle in the imported vehicle lot; Randomly check representative cars ...
In cases where imported car lots are not in the model testing mode, the inspection will be conducted by probability testing method. The content of inspection is similar to the above-mentioned form of examination. This test can be replaced by checking and comparing the structure of the model car compared to the vehicle with a test report issued by the manufacturer's software.
The circular takes effect from April 15, 2020.
This Circular invalidates a part of Circular 03/2018 / TT-BGTVT.
