The salt import quota for 2020 is 110,000 tons
On January 22, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Circular No. 02/2020 / TT-BCT regulating the principles of regulating the importation of import quotas of salt and poultry eggs by 2020.
Accordingly, the import quota for imports of salt and poultry eggs in 2020 is as follows:
- Chicken eggs (code 0407.21.00 and 0407.90.10); duck and swan eggs (codes 0407.29.10 and 0407.90.20); other types (codes 0407.29.90 and 0407.90.90) are 57,940 dozen (commercial eggs without embryos);
- Salt products (code 2501) is 110,000 tons.
In addition, this Circular also stipulates subjects of assignment of import duty quotas, specifically:
- Importing salt assigned to traders directly to use as raw materials for chemical production and as raw materials for manufacture of medicines and medical products;
- Importing poultry eggs assigned to traders who have a business registration certificate / enterprise registration certificate wishing to import.
Circular 02/2020 / TT-BCT takes effect from February 29, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
