Applying anti-dumping tax on some MSG products from China and Indonesia

On July 22, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision 1933 / QD-BCT on the application of official anti-dumping tax on some MSG products originating from the People's Republic of China and The Republic of Indonesia.

Accordingly, the official anti-dumping tax will be applied on some MSG products, classified under HS code 2922.42.20, imported into Vietnam, originating from the People's Republic of China and the Republic of China. Indonesia (incident code AD09).

Specifically, MSG products by the company Xinjiang Meihua Amino Acid Co., Ltd; Tongliao Meihua Biological Sci-Tech Co.,… has an official anti-dumping tax rate of 4,622,472 VND / ton.

Next, MSG product by COFCO Bio-Chemical Energy Company (Longjiang) Co., Ltd. production has an official anti-dumping tax rate of 5,069,249 VND / ton. In addition, MSG products manufactured and exported by Indonesian originating companies have the official anti-dumping tax rate of VND 5,289,439 / ton.

The time for the official application of anti-dumping tax is 5 years from the effective date of the Decision.

This Decision takes effect from July 23, 2020.
