From September 7, 2022, many DAP and MAP fertilizer products are exempt from self-defense tax

On March 3, 2020, the Minister of Industry and Trade issued Decision 715 / QD-BCT on extending the application of safeguard measures to imported DAP and MAP fertilizers.

Accordingly, extending the safeguard measure for DAP, MAP fertilizers has HS codes: 3105.10.20; 3105.10.90; 3105.20.00; 3105.30.00; 3105.40.00; 3105.51.00; 3105.59.00; 3105.90.00 imported into Vietnam.

In which, the self-defense tax rate from March 7, 2020 to March 6, 2021 is VND 1,050,662 million / ton; From March 7, 2021 to March 6, 2022, VND 1,029,219 million / ton; From March 7, 2022 to September 6, 2022, VND 1,007,778 million / ton and from September 7, 2022, VND 0 / ton (if not extended).

This Decision takes effect from March 7, 2020.
