The list of scrap permitted to be imported from abroad for use as raw production materials includes: Iron and steel scrap; Plastic scrap; Paper scrap; Glass scrap; Non-ferrous metal scrap; Blast furnace slag scrap.

At the same time, the following types of scrap are regulated on the roadmap to the end of December 31, 2021: Recovered waste paper or paperboard (waste and scrap): other types, including unassigned waste and scrap type (HS code 4707.90.00); Grain slag from the iron or steel refining industry (blast furnace particle slag including: fine grain slag, sand slag from the iron, iron and steel smelting industry) has code HS 2618.00.00.

The decision takes effect from November 15, 2020.
