06 groups of products inspected by the Institute of Nutrition for imported food safety

On June 10, 2020, the Minister of Health issued Decision 2405 / QD-BYT on assigning the task of State inspection of imported food safety under the management responsibility of the Ministry of Health.
Accordingly, the Minister assigned the Institute of Nutrition to carry out the State inspection of food safety for the following products and goods:

First of all, bottled water, natural mineral water, food ice (instant ice and ice used for food processing), except ice used for the preservation and processing of products in the classified sector. public management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Next, tools, packaging materials and containers in direct contact with food, except for tools and packaging materials in direct contact with food, are under the management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Phat. Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade are produced in the same establishment and are intended for use only by their food products.

Finally, functional foods; micronutrients added to food; food processing additives, flavorings, and food processing aids; other products not regulated in the list of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

This Decision takes effect 5 years from the date of its signing.
