New regulations on Code table of types of export and import
The General Department of Customs has just issued Decision 1357/QD-TCHQ promulgating the Code of Import and Export Types and instructions for use.
Accordingly, the code table of types of export and import has some changes, for example:

- Type of export includes 16 type codes, import type includes 24 type codes.

(Currently in Official Letter 2765/TCHQ-GSQL dated April 1, 2015, the type of import includes 22 type codes).

- For the code table of the export type:

+ Add code C12 (Goods from bonded warehouses to foreign countries);

+ Abolish code E56 (Exporting processed products for domestic delivery);

+ Modify the content of the user manual of codes B11, B12, B13, E52, E62, E82, G23, G61, C22 and H21.

- For the code table of the type of import:

+ Add code A43 (Import of goods under the tax incentive program) and code A44 (Temporary import of goods sold at duty-free shops);

+ Modify the user manual of codes A11, A12, A31, A41, A42, E13, E15, E21, E41, G12, G13, G14, G51, C11, C21 and H11.

Decision 1357/QD-TCHQ takes effect from June 1, 2021 and replaces Official Letter 2765/TCHQ-GSQL dated April 1, 2015.
