The Government Office just issued Document 7417/VPCP-KSTT sent to Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies and General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance on urging the implementation of tasks assigned by the Government and the Prime Minister.

To perform the tasks assigned by the Government and the Prime Minister (in Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP dated May 12, 2020, Resolution No. 75/NQ-CP dated July 14, 2021 of the Government and Directive No. 23/CT-TTg dated September 2, 2021 of the Prime Minister), ministries and agencies have closely coordinated with the Government Office to compile statistics, review, calculate compliance costs, update data and develop a plan to reduce and simplify regulations related to business activities.

Three ministries have submitted to the Prime Minister a plan on reducing and simplifying regulations related to business activities, including the Ministry of Health, the State Bank of Vietnam, and the Ministry of Transport. The plan of the Ministry of Health was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1661/QD-TTg dated October 4, 2021.

In order to continue to effectively implement the reduction and simplification of regulations related to business activities, ensuring requirements and direction of the Government are met, the Prime Minister and the Government Office propose Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Director General of Vietnam Social Insurance to urgently submit to the Prime Minister a plan on reducing and simplifying regulations related to business activities within the scope of their functions and management (for ministries and agencies that have not yet submitted plans).

In addition, directing affiliated units to develop and issue in accordance with their competence or submit to competent authorities for promulgation legal documents to implement a plan on reducing and simplifying regulations related to business activities immediately after being approved by the Prime Minister.

At the same time, continuing to closely coordinate with the Government Office to make statistics, review and calculate compliance costs, fully and accurately update all regulations related to business activities within the scope of management of ministries and agencies into the statistical and review software (including regulations currently in force and regulations in the project, draft legal documents being sent for feedback of relevant agencies and organizations) to publicize and soon put the database and Business Regulation Consultation Portal into operation following the direction of the Prime Minister in Directive No. 23/CT-TTg dated September 2, 2021.
