Notably, the draft Decree stipulates the management mechanism, methods, order and procedures for quality inspection and food safety inspection for imported goods has now been completed by the General Department of Customs under the announcement of conclusions of Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh at the meeting on February 17, 2022.

Currently, the Ministry of Finance is gathering opinions from ministries before reporting to the Prime Minister on official documents and the draft Decree.

For the Decree amending and supplementing a number of Articles of Decree 08/2015/ND-CP and Decree 59/2018/ND-CP of the Government detailing and implementing measures to the Customs Law for customs procedures, customs inspection, supervision and control, the General Department of Customs has sent a written explanation on opinions on the draft Decree amending Decree 08/2015/ND-CP to units under the Government Office.

The General Department of Customs has been consulting on the Decree on customs management of imported and exported goods in e-commerce trading.

In addition, an important draft decree which is also being consulted by the General Department of Customs with ministries, government agencies, provinces, cities, organizations and associations is the decree on information sharing in the field of export, import, transit of goods, exit, entry, transit of people and vehicles under the National Single Window mechanism.

Regarding the documents at the circular level, the General Department of Customs is gathering opinions from units under the direction of the leader of the Ministry of Finance on the draft Circular amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular 38/2015/ TT-BTC and Circular 39/2018/TT-BTC.

In addition, the Circular promulgates the List of Vietnam's exports and imports to replace Circular No. 65/2017/TT-BTC and Circular 09/2019/TT-BTC dated February 15, 2019 amending and supplementing the Annexes in Circular 65/2017/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance, which is currently being consulting with ministries, Government agencies, provinces and cities by the General Department of Customs.
