Process Steps
Step 1
|
The commodity owner shall submit a dossier of quarantine registration to the animal quarantine agency under the Department of Animal Health. The declaration shall be made at least 10 or 5 days before export for aquatic animals or aquatic products respectively.
|
Step 2
|
The animal quarantine agency shall check the declared contents and relevant papers; if the dossier is incomplete and invalid, it shall guide the commodity owner in completing the dossier according to regulations
|
Step 3
|
The animal quarantine agency shall certify the quarantine declaration, notify the place and time of quarantine and prepare quarantining conditions.
|
Step 4
|
The animal quarantine agency shall conduct the testing and
Grant the health certificate for aquatic animals or aquatic products meeting veterinary hygiene standards;
Guide the commodity owner in disposing of aquatic animals or aquatic products which fail to meet veterinary hygiene standards for export.
