A written request for design evaluation according to set form  (01)

03 sets of Equipment design dossier (original) as prescribed in relevant standards and norms. In cases where there are no provisions in minimum standards or design dossiers, the design dossiers shall include:

+ For production and assembly equipment:

* Design narrative

* Design calculations

* General drawings, main structure of equipment

* Drawings of operational principles and major technical specifications

* List of main components, main components with specifications and technical specifications

* Test procedure and test

+ For conversion equipment:

* The design-design narrative relates to the content of the conversion

* Master drawings of pre and post conversion equipment

* Drawings and technical documentation, systems for conversion

* Test procedure and test

Step 1

 Enterprise shall submit dossiers to the Vietnam Register

Step 2

- The Vietnam Register will receive and examine the dossiers: If the dossiers are incomplete according to regulations, guide the enterprise to complete; If the dossier is complete as prescribed, a written appointment must be made for the time of return.

- The Vietnam Register will conduct the design evaluation: If the dossier does not meet the requirements, it shall notify in writing the enterprise; If it satisfies the requirements, the design evaluation certificate shall be made according to a set form, enclosed with a set of design dossiers already appraised.
