Process Steps
|
Step 1
|
Register for quarantine with the animal quarantine agency.
|
|
Step 2
|
After getting the approval from the Department of Animal Health, the commodity owner shall make a quarantine declaration with the animal quarantine body at the border gate
|
|
Step 3
|
Examine the dossier of quarantine and health conditions of the import animals
If no signs of dangerous diseases are detected, a certification shall be made to transport the animals to the isolated location for quarantine
|
|
Step 4
|
Monitor the animals and inspect possible diseases at the isolated location for quarantine within 45 days.
|
|
Step 5
|
Grant the certificate of import quarantine if the animals meet veterinary hygiene standards
Or make a written record and take prescribed steps of treatment if the animals fail to meet the requirements
