Process Steps
|
Step 1
|
The owner of the articles shall submit a dossier of registration for plant quarantine of import articles to the plant quarantine agency
|
|
Step 2
|
The plant quarantine agency shall receive and examine the validity of the dossier. If the dossier is not valid, the plant quarantine agency shall request the owner of the articles for completion of the dossier
|
|
Step 3
|
The plant quarantine agency shall designate the inspection location and conduct physical inspection of the shipment of articles
|
|
Step 4
|
The plant quarantine agency shall grant the Certificate of plant quarantine for import, transit and inland transportation of the shipment of not infected with subjects of plant quarantine subjects of control of Vietnam or unidentified pests
The plant quarantine agency shall reply in witting and clearly state reasons for refusal of the Certificate of plant quarantine to the owner of the articles

If the plants are infected by objects of quarantine objects not having been present in Vietnam but are on the Vietnamese list of quarantined objects, such plants shall not be imported but returned to the places of origin or destroyed.
