The Circular is to provide for veterinary drug management, including registration, testing/inspection, manufacture, trade, export, import, quality inspection, recalling, destruction and advertising of veterinary drug. It applies to Vietnamese and foreign organizations and individuals related to those activities.

This Circular becomes effective since July 19, 2016 and annuls some documents partly or wholly, as follows:

a) The regulations about testing of veterinary drugs specified in Decision No. 18/2002/QD-BTS dated June 3rd, 2002;

b) Articles 1 and 2 of Circular No. 47/2010/TT-BNNPTNT dated August 3, 2010;

c) Article 1 of Circular No. 20/2011/TT-BNNPTNT dated April 6, 2011

d) Articles 19, 20 and 21 of Circular No. 04/2015/TT-BNNPTNT dated February 12, 2015;

e) Article 2 of Circular No. 10/2016/TT-BNNPTNT dated June 1, 2016

It also replaces the following documents:

a) Circular No. 02/2009/TT-BNN dated January 14, 2009;

b) Circular No. 03/2009/TT-BNN dated January 14, 2009;

c) Decision No. 71/2007/QD-BNN dated August 6, 2007;
