Legal basis of the Procedure                   
  • Customs Law No. 54/2014/QH13 dated June 23, 2014.
  • Decree No. 08/2015/ND-CP of the Government dated January 21, 2015 providing specific provisions and guidance on enforcement of the Customs Law regarding customs procedures, examination, supervision and control procedures.;
  • Circular No. 42/2015/TT-BTC dated March 27, 2015 of the Ministry of Finance stipulating the customs procedure applied to outgoing, incoming and transit means of transport

  • The examination of dossier shall be completed within 02 working hours from the receipt of sufficient information or documents of customs dossier

Process Steps
Step 1
The customs declarant shall submit the prescribed documents of the customs dossier to the customs authority.
Step 2
The customs authority shall receive the dossier, examine the information and give confirmation to documents presented by the declarant or handle sanctions of violations in case any violation against the customs legislation is detected.
