Circular No. 57/2011/TT-BGTVT proclaims three national technical regulations on automobile spare parts as follows:

1. QCVN 32:2011/BGTVT - National technical regulation on safety glazing equipped on vehicle;
2. QCVN 33:2011/BGTVT - National technical regulation on rear view mirrors for automobiles; and
3. QCVN 34:2011/BGTVT - National technical regulation on pneumatic tires for automobiles.

Particularly, the third regulation, that is QCVN 34:2011/BGTVT, is compiled by Vietnam Register, presented by the Department of Science and Technology for approval, and issued by the Ministry of Transport under this Circular.

The technical regulation is outlined on the basis of TCVN 7226:2002 and TCVN 7227:2002. It regulates technical requirements for new pneumatic tires equipped in automobiles, trailers and semi-trailers, except tires for speeds lower than 60 km/h and in excess of 300 km/h; and tires for racing and sports.

This document applies to manufacturers, assemblers and importers of tires, producers and organizations involved in testing, inspection, and certification of technical quality and safety of tires for automobiles.

This technical regulation is also enclosed with its six annexes concerned.

Circular No. 57/2011/TT-BGTVT comes into force six months after its signing date.
