Circular No. 70/2010/TT-BNNPTNT introduces an additional list of plant varieties and fertilizers allowed to be produced, sold, and used in Vietnam.

Together with this Circular are three appendices.

The first is the additional list of plant varieties permitted for production and trading in Vietnam, including seven varieties of plain rice, one variety of glutinous rice, three varieties of hybrid rice, one variety of hybrid maize, one variety of tobacco, and three varieties of grass.

The second is the additional list of fertilizers eligible for production, trading, and use in Vietnam, including micro-organism fertilizer, micro-organism organic fertilizer, bio-organic fertilizer, fertilizer with growth balancing substances, and mineral organic fertilizer.

The third is the list of fertilizers replaced for those in the second, however with a change in the name of fertilizers, ingredients, and content of registered substances and units, which comprises 274 types of fertilizers, classified into micro-organism organic fertilizer, mineral organic fertilizer, and foliar fertilizer.

The Circular comes into effect after 45 days ever since the signing date.
