Promulgated with this Circular is the National Technical Regulation on Emission of from the Motorcycles Newly Manufactured, Assemblied, and Imported, coded QCVN 04: 2009/BGTVT.

Specifically, the regulation specifies limit of gaseous pollutants, testing methods and requirements for management to examine the emissions from the newly manufactured, assemblied, and imported motorbikes.

In addition, the three-wheeled vehicles of more than 400 kilograms in weight themselves supposed to be the motorbikes compliant with TCVN 6211 also follow this regulation to define the level of emissions.

This Circular comes into force after six months since from signing date.
