Circular No. 74/TT provides detailed guidance for the import of calendars published in foreign countries to be used as gifts and presents.

According to this Circular, all the calendars imported into Vietnam for use or complimentary purposes must be verified in terms of their content and licensed by culturally competent authorities.

Furthermore, the import of these calendars for profit-making business is strictly prohibited.

The Circular also identifies the maximum quantity of calendars that agencies, organizations and individuals are allowed to import as gifts and presents within a year.

This Circular supersedes Circular No. 108/VHTT-TT promulgated by the Ministry of Culture and Information on December 30, 1992.
