Circular No.35/2015/BYT deals with the national technical regulation on the safety and hygiene for packages and containers made of glass, ceramic, porcelain and enameled directly contacting food.

Attached to this Circular is QCVN 12-4:2015/BYT labeled “National technical regulation on the safety and hygiene for glass, ceramic, porcelain and enameled implements, containers, and packaging in direct contact with food”.

The national technical regulation restricts the migration of lead and cadmium, and includes a list of standards which can be utilized for demonstration of compliance.

The Circular takes effect on May 1, 2016
