Circular No. 39/2016/TT-BCT regulates the import quota of raw tobacco in 2017, the import of raw tobacco complying with the tariff quota in 2017 issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on 30/12/2016.

The import quota of raw tobacco (Code HS 2401) in 2017 is 51,051 tonnes.

According to Circular 39, the allocation of tariff quotas for import of raw tobacco is carried out in accordance with the Circular No. 04/2014/TT-BCT. Import tariff quotas for raw tobacco (HS 2401) originating in ASEAN countries are not applicable. The import of raw tobacco from ASEAN countries is in accordance with Circular No. 07/2015/TT-BCT.

The Circular is effective from January 01, 2017 to December 31, 2017.
