98 procedures newly connected to National Single Window

The number of procedures newly connected from the beginning of the year to 2018 until now has increased sharply, higher by more than 2 times compared to the number in 2017 onward.

98 procedures newly connected to National Single Window

According to the latest information from the General Department of Vietnam Customs, till 24/12, there were 145 administrative procedures of ministries and branches connecting the National Single Window (NSW). In that, 5 procedures newly connected in the field of management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Notably, the number of procedures connected in 2018 was up to 98 procedures, while 47 new procedures were connected from 2017 onwards

Especially, after the National online conference on "Promoting NSW, ASEAN Single Window (ASW) and trade facilitation" with the drastic direction of the Government, the Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee on ASW, NSW and trade facilitation, the number of procedures increased sharply to 92 procedures (at the time of the Conference held in July 2018 only had 53 procedures connected).

Regarding the results, updated from the time of deployment (12/11/2014) to 7/12, there were over 1.7 million dossiers of 26,000 enterprises processed through the National Single Window Portal.

Up to now, many ministries and agencies have basically completed the connection plan of 2018. In that, the Ministry of Transport - the unit has the most number of procedures (87 procedures) but also being the first Ministry that has completed connecting 100% of procedures to NSW from 1/12/2018.

Regarding the implementation of ASW, ASEAN Single Window was officially implemented from 1/1/2018 with the connection and exchange of electronic C/O between Vietnam and the four countries in the region (Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia).

From the time of deployment to 5/12, Vietnam has received nearly 55,000 C/O from ASEAN countries and sent nearly 92,000 C/O to other countries.
