This Guide to Trade Section is intended to give helpful advice to traders on the import, export and transit of goods in to and from Vietnam.

In recent years there have been wide reaching changes in Vietnam’s international trade as a result of globalization and the country’s move to a free market economy, which has greatly facilitated the free flow of goods and enhance global competition. To reflect these changes the Import and Export Policies of the Government of Vietnam are under constant review and are subject to change.
