This Circular stipulates in detail Paragraph 3, Article 53 of the Law on Animal Health on the List of aquatic animals and animal products subject to the quarantine and non-quarantine; the List of aquatic animals and animal products subject to the analysis of risks before imported into Vietnam; and the List of subjects performing the quarantine of aquatic animals and animal products.

This Circular also provides detailed guidelines on the the procedures (content and dossier) for registration and declaration regarding quarantine of aquatic animals and animal products transported out of the provincial areas; for export, import, temporary import for re-export, temporary export for re-import, border-gate transfer, bonded warehouse transfer, transit in the territory of Vietnam.

This Circular becomes effective since August 15, 2016 and replaces the following documents:

a) Circular No. 06/2010/TT-BNNPTNT dated February 2, 2010;

b) Circular No. 43/2010/TT-BNNPTNT dated July 14, 2010;

c) Circular No. 32/2012/TT-BNNPTNT dated July 20, 2012.

It also annuls:

a) Article 5 of Circular No. 47/2010/TT-BNNPTNT dated August 3, 2010;

b) Article 2 of Circular No. 51/2010/TT-BNNPTNT dated September 8, 2010; and

c) Article 2 of Circular No. 53/2010/TT-BNNPTNT dated September 10, 2010.

Aquatic products salted, processed (drying, freeze-drying, fumigating). 5. Aquatic products in processed forms, canned. 6. Fish sauce, shrimp paste. 7. Fresh eggs, salted eggs and products made from aquatic eggs. 8. Fish powder, fish oil, fish grease, shrimp powder, oyster powder and products from other fisheries used as material. 9.
